Westin Carolina Rig Kit (70cm, 10g) Size 2 (2-Pack)

At Gerrys Fishing, we know that when the bite gets tough, a refined presentation is the key to success. The Westin Carolina Rig Kit is a professional-grade, pre-tied solution designed for anglers who want the perfect weight-free lure action without the hassle of tying complex rigs on the bank.

The Carolina Rig is legendary for its ability to catch wary Perch and Zander. By separating the weight from the lure, your soft plastic can flutter, glide, and suspend naturally in the water column. This 10g kit uses premium W6 ST3 Fluorocarbon, providing near-invisibility and high abrasion resistance, all neatly wound on a reusable EVA spool for easy storage.

The Click Factor

This kit includes UV Fluo plastic beads. When the 10g matte black bullet weight slides down the line and hits the bead, it creates a distinct clicking sound that mimics the snap of a crayfish or a feeding prey fishacoustically triggering predators to investigate.

Where & How to Use

The 10g weight and Size 2 EWG (Extra Wide Gap) hook make this an incredibly versatile setup for various venues:

• Canals & Stillwaters: Perfect for fishing over silty bottoms or light weed. The 70cm leader ensures your lure stays out of the debris while the weight stays on the bottom.

• River Fishing: Excellent for dragging through slow-moving river slacks. The 10g weight is heavy enough to maintain contact with the bed, while the offset hook makes it virtually weedlessperfect for fishing through sunken branches or roots.

• Drop-Offs & Margins: Use a slow drag and pause retrieve. Often, the strike comes during the pause when the lure is slowly sinking behind the weight.

• Target Species: Perfectly scaled for Large Perch, Chub, and Zander.
