Van Staal VR Series Bailed 75 (VR75) Spinning Reel

The Van Staal VR75 model strikes a perfect balance between lightweight design and heavy-duty performance, making it an excellent choice for light-to-medium surf fishing, jetty fishing, and boat applications where a fully waterproof reel is essential. Its fully sealed body and spool design ensures that it is completely protected from water, salt, and sand, allowing for confident use in the harshest marine environments, including brief full submersions.

Key Features

• Fully Sealed Construction: Both the body and spool are fully sealed to protect the internal components, including the gearing and drag system, from water and debris.
• Durable Build: It features a body, rotor, and spool that are fully machined from 6061 aluminum, providing immense strength without the weight of traditional sealed reels.
• High-Speed Retrieve: The 6.3:1 gear ratio provides a quick line pick-up, ideal for working fast-moving lures and retrieving slack line quickly.
• Convertible Design: The reel comes standard with a bail, but also includes a bail-less conversion kit in the box (for the VR75 size and up), allowing the angler to customize the reel for their preferred fishing style.
