The Shield foreline ensures that your rig never slips off the reel during your cast. Please note, this product must only be used with a properly functioning, safe lead systemShield is not only incredibly strong but also highly abrasion-resistant (try it on a knife or scissors!). This is not an excuse to fish in nearly impossible spots. Shield comes in a very light green color and we recommend using the Luc de Baets splice knot for optimal performance.

The Shield foreline is an extraordinarily abrasion-resistant monofilament with extremely low memory and virtually no knots. It stands out from other monofilament lines by combining remarkable abrasion resistance with an extremely soft character, ensuring a reliable, efficient presentation.
