Duo Rough Trail Hydra 175 30 grams Sinking Lure CBH0423

30g | Sinking

The Rough Trail Hydra 175 is a sinking pencil bait for anglers who want a long-cast, subsurface baitfish presentation.

It is useful when predators are feeding near the top but not quite willing to break the surface for a floating plug.

Count it down, then work it with sweeps, twitches, or a steady retrieve.

The sinking body lets you control the running layer, so you can keep the lure under wind chop, under bait, or slightly deeper than topwater fish that are refusing surface strikes.

This is strongest for shore casting and offshore casting when distance and water-column control matter.

It is less forgiving around shallow snaggy ground because it will keep dropping if you pause it too long.

TARGET SPECIES: tuna, GT, kingfish, yellowtail, mahi-mahi, trevally, queenfish, bluefish, and other pelagic predators feeding on larger bait.
