Pro Tip

Balance is Key: While the 1.5oz tip is fantastic for sensitive bite detection, always ensure you match your mainline to the casting weight. For this 11ft model, a 6lb to 8lb mainline is the sweet spotits light enough to cast the 30-50g feeders accurately but strong enough to handle the sudden lunge of a double-figure commercial carp near the net.

Examples of Where to Use

• Commercial Method Feeder Fishing: Perfectly suited for casting method or hybrid feeders up to 50 yards on mid-sized lakes.

• Natural Stillwaters: The 11ft length provides excellent line control when fishing for skimmers and bream at distance.

• Slow-Flowing Rivers: Use the sensitive 1.5oz tip to pick up shy bites from roach and dace while maintaining enough backbone to land accidental chub or barbel.

• Winter Bomb Fishing: The refined action makes it an excellent choice for fishing the straight lead with bread or corn when bites are at a premium.

FAQs

Is the reel already loaded with line?

No, the Ninja 3012 reel is supplied in the box but is not pre-spooled. This allows you to choose the specific breaking strain and type of line (monofilament or braid) that best suits your target species.

Can I buy spare quiver tips for this rod?

Yes, the Ninja feeder range uses standard Daiwa quiver tips, meaning you can easily purchase lighter or heavier tips (e.g., 1oz or 2oz) to adapt the rod to different weather conditions or fish species.

Is this combo suitable for big carp?

The 11ft Feeder rod has a progressive power build-up, making it very capable of landing large commercial carp. However, it is designed as an all-round tool rather than a dedicated heavy specimen rod.

Does the rod come with a bag?

No.
