Description BUCCA Baby Bull Rat Lure 3.5 Inch Model Body Length Weight Buoyancy Depth Pre-Rigged Baby Bull Rat 3.5 Inch (9cm) 3/4 oz (21g) Rigged Floating 0 – 1ft Yes The BUCCA Baby Bull Rat Lure is a realistic topwater wakebait designed by Mike Bucca to imitate a rodent swimming across the surface a natural food source that consistently triggers explosive reaction strikes from aggressive predatory fish. Built with a two-piece jointed body, the lure produces a lifelike swimming action combined with an audible clacking sound that helps draw attention from distance. A detailed fur-like texture and ultra-realistic paint finishes further enhance its natural rodent profile, making it a convincing target in clear or pressured water. The Baby Bull Rat is designed for versatile topwater presentations. A slow to steady retrieve creates a natural swimming wake, while rod-tip twitches allow it to be worked walk-the-dog style for added surface disturbance and strike appeal. Running just beneath or along the surface at around 01 ft depth, it stays in the strike zone where big fish feed. A key feature is its pre-rigged soft plastic tail with a screw-lock system, allowing quick replacement or customisation with spare tails to suit conditions or preference. The lure comes fitted with sharp, strong treble hooks for reliable hook-ups straight out of the box. Measuring 3.5 (9cm) and weighing approximately 3/4oz (21g) rigged, the Baby Bull Rat is perfectly suited for targeting freshwater predators such as Murray cod, barramundi, bass, and saratoga, while also tempting any species that feeds on surface-propelled prey. Available in a range of lifelike rodent-inspired colours, the BUCCA Baby Bull Rat is a standout surface lure built to provoke aggressive, visual strikes when nothing else will.
