Adding to its versatility for UK fishing, the BKK Beak Baitholder-R benefits from BKKs advanced manufacturing processes and proprietary technologies. BKK has been a leader in hook design for over a century, using a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation.

The exceptional sharpness of the Beak Baitholder is a result of BKKs Needle Point technology. The hook point is chemically sharpened to an incredibly fine point, reducing the force needed to penetrate a fishs mouth. This is crucial for a solid hook-up, especially when dealing with hard-mouthed species like wrasse or cod.

Furthermore, the hook is made from high-quality BKK-81WV high-carbon steel, a material specifically chosen for its superior strength and elasticity. This ensures the hook can withstand the immense pressure of a fighting fish without bending or breaking. The final touch is a durable black nickel coating. This finish not only provides a stealthy appearance but also offers a higher degree of abrasion and saltwater corrosion resistance compared to other materials, ensuring your hooks remain sharp and strong for longer in the harsh marine environment of the UK coastline.
